Lucky was Australia’s first full colour street press magazine
2002 - 2004
Before social media and even websites existed, street press was the one stop shop for all the news on fashion, music and culture. Lucky Magazine evolved from the fortnightly street press HR magazine, and was Australia’s first full colour street press title.
The magazine was owned and published by an independent small publishing group, and worked frequently with designers Tin & Ed when they were still in uni. My role was to sell advertising to keep the wheels rolling, but I got to do lots of fun editorial work too.
